About the Program:

Technicians provide the maintenance and servicing of the Air Corps’ fleet of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, their engines, systems, and equipment. As an Apprentice, you will undergo military training and technical training, which lasts approximately 4.5 years. The Air Corps Technical Training School is an EASA approved Part 147 training organization and is accredited by TUD/DIT to deliver the Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Military Aviation Technology. Apprentices will then work on the Air Corps’ modern fleet.

Licences: Solas accreditation and an EASA Part 66 Category B Licence 

Pay: Aircraft Trainee Technicians are paid from the day they join the Defence Forces
